Lotte World Busan toasts its one-year anniversary with the fact that 1.4 million visitors passed through the South Korean park.

Designed by Legacy Entertainment, the second theme park under the Lotte World umbrella, has been acknowledged with positive reviews ever since it opened to the public on 31 March.

According to Legacy, its visitor figures ‘significantly exceeded initial attendance projections’.

“The entire Legacy team is thrilled for the success of our friends and partners at Lotte World,” says Yaeli Chung, Legacy’s Managing Director of South Korea. 

“Outside of Disney and Universal, many new theme parks which have opened in the last decade have struggled to find their footing initially, so this makes such a healthy debut year such welcome news.”
