The 23rd China Attractions Expo (CAE) takes place at its new home, the China National Convention Center in Beijing, on March 17-19.

The 2012 edition of the key Asia trade show for the amusement industry facilitated global business deals worth millions of dollars and attracted a wide range of delegates from around the world.

This year CAE will occupy more than 11,000sq.m at the National Convention Center, with more than 3,000 professionals having already registered to attend the expo.

In addition to delegates from China, visitors from the US, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Canada, Turkey, Japan, South Korea and India are all set to attend.

According to event organiser the China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (CAAPA), preparatory work for the event has gone smoothly, and more than 350 booths had been reserved by mid-December last year.

Domestic exhibitors including Beijng Shibaolai, Aidele, ProFun, Golden Horse Amusement Equipment Company, Beijing Jiuhua and Wenzhou NanFang will be joined by a host of overseas-based groups, including ABC Rides, Arihant Industrial, B&M, DreamPrak Empex Forrect, Huss Rides Intamin, KCC, Mack Rides, Martin and Vlleminckx, Maurer Sohne, Moser, OKE, Polin Waterparks and Pool Systems, Prime Play, ProSlide Technology, Showtime, Triotech, Vekoma and WhiteWater West Industries, among others.

The expo will be the ideal platform for the exhibitors to organise new product launches and hold one-to-one meetings. Day one of the show will include a VIP dinner for exhibitors and key buyers.

At the dinner, the top five most popular booths will be awarded a certificate and offered a five per cent discount for the next year's show.
