Virtual queuing systems giant Lo-Q has announced that a new contract for Q-band, the company’s latest waterpark product, has been agreed with Zoombezi Bay waterpark in Ohio, US.

Zoombezi – which was opened in 2008 by the operator of Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, also in Ohio – has signed a five-year contract for the Q-Band waterpark ride reservation system, which Lo-Q will install and operate.

The attraction opened in 2008 following an extensive redevelopment of the old Wayandot Lake Park and has seen a steady increase in attendance rates ever since.

Q-Band was launched late last year, and the Zoombezi Bay contract will mark the 11th waterpark signing of the product around the world, and the park’s operator said it hopes the product will promote a steady growth in attendance and increase the number of season pass holders.
