Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark, opened its doors for the summer season today (Thursday, April 18), welcoming crowds to its latest themed area.

The park has been extended by 600sq.m to make room for Det Muntre Hjorne (The Cheerful Corner), which is devoted to the famous Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe.

The new area includes a new gravity ride, two child-friendly rides, food and drink options and a merchandise store.
