The Fuyang Municipal Government of Changzhou in the Jiangsu Province of China recently held a ceremony with Sunac China and Global Exhibitions to mark the Caoshan Future City project.
The Caoshan Future City project involves three phases, the first of which will commence within 3 to 5 years.
The first phase of the project includes the construction of an international conference centre, upmarket hotels, purpose-built towns, forest themed apartments, shopping facilities and more.
The Caoshan Future City project is the first co-developed project of Sunac and Global Exhibitions. The ambitious new development was agreed in December 2018 and aims to be an international conference complex, with large-scale conference centres, special cultural tourism towns, and a tourism area with theme parks.
The total estimated investment for the Caoshan Future City project stands at around 28 billion yuan. The first phase is expected to cost approximately 6 billion yuan.
