The 20th anniversary Halloween Horror Festival helped Movie Park Germany enjoy its best autumn since 2000. Over the course of the entire season, visitor numbers were up 9%.

“We are thrilled that our Halloween event has attracted such great interest and drawn so many visitors to the park,” says Movie Park general manager Thorsten Backhaus. “This is a huge endorsement for our team and the ideas we developed during our anniversary year. ”

The new Wrong Turn maze was a highlight of this year’s Halloween Horror Festival

“Despite some challenges over the summer, we’ve enjoyed a satisfactory year overall,” continues Backhaus. “The strides made by our tour operator Movie Park Holidays have been very positive, too. With our approximately 50 partner hotels, we also experienced further growth in this area. The desire of visitors to spend two days in the park has been established once again.”

The season came to a close on November 4. The park will now spend its winter break preparing for a new IP-branded attraction aimed at its younger guests. The 2019 starts March 29.
