The Seasonal Group, a UK and European leader in the design and manufacture of animatronic displays, decorations and grottos for shopping centres and public attractions, are expanding into the USA and Canadian markets.

The Seasonal Group has announced the appointment of Martin & Vleminckx as their exclusive distribution partner for the USA and Canada.

Based in Canada, Martin & Vleminckx is a global leader in the amusement park industry, supplying amusement ride installation projects. The company will provide The Seasonal Group’s innovative animatronic products to the amusement park and leisure industry in North America.

The Seasonal Group is based in Halifax in the UK. The company was established as a family business in 1980. Having grown organically year on year and working with most major garden centres and shopping malls in the UK, the Seasonal Group now employs around 80 people.

Andrew Bontoft, managing director of the Seasonal Group, commented on the new partnership:

“We are really excited to have a distribution agreement with MVR and have worked hard to develop a range of innovative products.

“There are exciting opportunities for the two businesses to work together and having similar work ethics, we will be able to exploit operational synergies.”

Having recently expanded its facilities acquiring a second site in Halifax, the Seasonal Group now has over 100,000 square feet of facilities.

The partnership with Martin & Vleminckx will mean the Seasonal Group will need to employ more people to expand its workforce further.
