A dance off for the ages has taken place at Universal Studios in the shape of its No Limit street parade.

Friends from the worlds of Super Mario and Pokémon have united for the first time ever to create a wonderful mix of dance and colour in the shape of the No Limit street parade.

Also invited to the party is Minions, Elmo, Snoopy, Hello Kitty, and many others.

The multi-coloured floats come accompanied by melodic music to wow guests. “Let yourself loose and dance away at this hot-and-dynamic parade where everyone’s a star!” promised Universal Studios – and the parade lives up to expectations.

The daytime festivities kicked off on 1 March and the parade, which lasted for 50 minutes, running through to 5 July.

The No Limits parade is held once a day with a trip along Rainbow Road taking nostalgic Super Mario guests on a unique journey with the likes of Mario, Luigi, Toad, Bowser, Yoshi, and Peach bringing the world of Mario Kart to the street parade. The mixture of seeing the iconic characters dance to the tunes of Super Mario Bros. is the perfect marriage of art and music.

Another popular character appearing at No Limit is Pokémon with Pikachu taking centre stage alongside Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Lugia and Ho-Oh, among other Pokémon.

The sight of Super Mario Bros and Pokémon characters joining forces for a world’s first street parade adds to the entertainment line-up at Universal Studios Japan, who are eager to strike while the iron is hot after opening Super Nintendo World in 2021 and confirming Pokémon is heading to Universal Studios Japan in 2023.

To watch the show, guests can take up multiple viewing areas along the parade. Meanwhile, guest could also purchase a separate ticket at the “No Limit! Parade Special Viewing Area” held at Gramercy Park.

To accompany the parade, Universal Studios have introduced a Bubble Wand which children can shake and the mirror ball bounces. And while the street parade is in motion, guests can tuck into signature delights named after prominent video game and television characters like Wagging Tail Pikachu Pizza Bun, Mario Kart Popcorn Bucket, Fever!! Minion Bucket with Candy Cola Flavoured Popcorn and Let’s Dance! Sesame Street Orange Cupcake.

The ultimate dance party of No Limit at Universal Studios Japan is an overriding success.
