A report has been published confirming the dwindling financial income of Shenzhen OCT Co., Ltd. 

The semi-annual report of this calendar year has confirmed that OCT achieved an operating income of 16.396 billion yuan (£1,997 billion) – a yearly decrease of 29%.

Furthermore, there has been a net profit of 750 million yuan (£93.673m) and net profit attributable to the parent of 105 million yuan (£13.110m) – a year-on-year decrease of 68% respectively.

The company’s tourism business income reached 10.549 billion yuan (£1,310 billion) – an annual decrease of 44% with the gross profit margin 25%. This figure represents a similar number posted in 2021.

According to the financial report, in the first half of 2022, OCT’s 32 scenic spots, 29 hotels, one travel agency, 8 open tourist areas, and one tourism performance received a total of 26.777 million tourists, which was 94% of the same period last year.

OCT said that the company expects the opening of projects such as Xiangyang Qiqu Childhood Hotel and Nanchang Wanmei Park during the second half of 2022.
