Listen to this article

Following months of planning and building, the highly-awaited four-star hotel named Krønasår has finally opened at Europa Park, the largest theme park in Germany.

What is Europa Park’s sixth themed hotel, Krønasår is part of a huge, 450,000 square metre extension of the resort, which will include a new waterpark, known as Rulantica.

Being a uniquely themed natural history museum hotel, Krønasår allows guests the chance to get up close to nature.

Guests are welcomed by an imposing skeleton of the sea serpent ‘Syalgur’, a character from the world of Rutlantica, which is displayed in the hotel lobby.

The theme of the hotel was designed by MackMedia and Mack Solutions, and is based on the story of the legendary island of Rulantica.

Mack Solutions is the design department of Germany’s legendary Europa Park, which attracts more than five million visitors every year.

With 276 themed rooms and 28 suites, the hotel can accommodate up to 1,300 guests overnight and provides several high-end dining options.

A bridge links the themed hotel with the Rutlantica Waterpark, which is due to open in November this year.
