The Park at OWA, a 520-acre amusement park destination on Alabama’s Gulf Coast, USA, has launched its first dark ride – the Mystic Mansion.
Whilst queuing for the attraction, guests are greeted by Professor Phearstruck, who explains the history of the Mystic Mansion and the curse that was put upon the haunted house.
Riders then board a Ghost Tracker Vehicle and are taken on a journey through the mansion’s 15 different scenes. During the voyage around the spooky house, the Mansion’s ghosts could appear at any time.
The thrill of this family attraction is heightened with neon colours, black lights and the ride’s principle ghost – Boocifer.
Kristin Hellmich, director or marketing at The Park of OWA, commented on the amusement resort’s first dark ride.
“We search long and hard for what would be the next addition to our amusement park, and this particular attraction checked every box.”
Mystic Mansion opened to the public on June 15.
