Mexico’s leading tourism developer, Grupo Vidanta, has unveiled it will open its luxury waterpark named Jungala at the Vidanta Riviera Maya resort in Quintana Roo, Mexico on June 22, 2019.
State-of-the-art slides and rides are to feature at Jungala, alongside VIP cabanas, one of the longest lazy rivers in Latin America and restaurants, in a waterpark aimed at creating an immersive experience for visitors.
Some of the rides visitors can enjoy at Jungala include an Aqua Drop, Flatline Loop, Aqua Loop and the Whizzard.
There will also be plenty of family-friendly attractions for younger visitors, including the Kids Waterslide Complex and the Aqua Play Rain Fortress, hailed as the largest interactive play structure in the world.
The site’s lazy river stretches across 1km. Visitors can also have fun in the wave pool with a natural sand beach.
The waterpark is nestled amongst the jungle, against a backdrop of trees, rocks, caves, waterfalls, ruins, bridges and native birds and animals.
Iván Chávez, executive vice president at Grupo Vidanta, commented:
