The Dutch holiday/amusement park Dunirell is to extend its waterpark facilities and provide new family accommodation for 2019.
After a long, hot summer in 2018, the Tikibad pool area is to be extended. This will include the construction of a new heated outdoor pool, new water slides and a water playground featuring a further four slides.
Duinrell is also working on the renewal and expansion of its holiday park facilities. In May, eight new 5-person lodge tents will be put into use, followed in June by eight new luxury ‘Duingalows’ (as pictured below), each featuring a sauna.
In September, visitors will also have the option of staying in the Oranjerie family home. Previously this served as a tearoom, but it is now being converted into luxurious accommodation for up to 24 people.
Meanwhile the La Place restaurant chain, which has had a presence in the park for the past 10 years, will launch a new self-service outlet for 2019. Also planned is a Pizza restaurant and refurbished takeaway in Duinrell Plaza.
Entertaining between 1.2 and 1.4 million guests a year, Duinrell is located in Wassenaar, just outside The Hague.
