Legoland Japan is about to get a ninja-themed expansion with the arrival of Lego Ninjago World, set to open this July.
The new world will expand the park’s site to a total eight areas. Nothing concrete has been announced about what rides and attractions will feature in the Lego Ninjago World.
However, speculation is circulating that the new world will resonate that of the Legoland Discovery Centre in Tokyo, where guests are invited to test their laser dodging skills at the park’s Ninjago City Adventure area.
It is also believed two new attractions are coming to Legoland Japan, as well as an interactive training feature that trains visitors for their ‘ninjahood.’
Legoland Japan is a new amusement park having only opened in Nagoya in 2017. Currently, the park comprises of seven Lego-themed areas.
In the centre of the site is a ‘Miniland Japan’ area, which highlights Japan’s most iconic landmarks and attractions, including Tokyo, Mount Fuji and Kyoto, which are built out of millions of Lego bricks.
Another key highlight of Legoland Japan is its rotating Observation Tower, which provides a panoramic view of the park and its surroundings.
Merlin Entertainments announced plans to construct a Legoland resort in Nagoya in 2014 and construction of the site began in 2015.
The Lego Ninjago World promises to be an exciting new addition to the resort taking Lego-loving guests through interactive scenes based on Lego’s much-loved team of young ninjas – Kai, Zane, Cole and Jay – who are forced to battle the dark Lord Garmadon and his skeleton army.
