Rainbow Productions has received a licence from the British Olympic Association (BOA) under its Supplier Recognition Scheme, awarding the company the right to use the 'supplier of walkaround mascots to London 2012' designation until December 2015.

The BOA licence also grants the company rights to use appropriate imagery from the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) image library.

This designation is in recognition of mascot manufacturer Rainbow Productions being an Eligible Games Supplier. The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) signed a licensing agreement with Rainbow Productions to manufacture costumes and manage the personal appearances of official mascots Wenlock and Mandeville.

These walkabout mascots were launched to the public during their visit to a school in Tower Hamlets in London in May 2010.
