Sanderson Group’s CEO Steve Sanderson and business development director Peter Sanderson have been appointed to the board of directors of RSG Maps as part of a corporate restructure.
Formerly known as Sanderson Project Development, RSG Maps is a 49 per cent shareholder in Animation Theme Park, developer of the MYR520m ($130m) Movie Animation Park Studios in Ipoh, Malaysia.
Sanderson has also increased its equity shareholding in RSG Maps to more than 80 per cent.
Due to open in December 2016, Movie Animation Park is positioned as Asia’s first animation theme park and is expected to entertain 1.4 million visitors in its first year of operation.
