SeaWorld Orlando is gearing up to celebrate its 60th anniversary in style, with a year-long extravaganza of festivities kicking off on March 21st – exactly 60 years since the opening of the first SeaWorld in San Diego. As part of the celebration, guests can enjoy special discounts of up to 30% off on Tickets, Fun Cards, and Annual Passes for a limited time.

The anniversary launch party, taking place from March 21st to 24th, promises a host of exciting activities, including a cake cutting ceremony at park opening led by Jon Peterson, SeaWorld Orlando Park President. Jon will share reflections on the company’s remarkable 60-year journey, with guests receiving complimentary cupcakes while supplies last.

Additionally, visitors can explore new and exclusive vintage merchandise, featuring a range of collectibles such as reusable water bottles, plush animals, snow globes, apparel, and more. For the first time in recent years, guests will have the chance to meet Shamu & Crew together again and snap a commemorative photo. Children of all ages will delight in encountering beloved costume characters including Shamu, Coral the Dolphin, Sydney the Shark, and Puck the Penguin.

Throughout the park, commemorative in-park screens will showcase memorable moments shared by guests and ambassadors, inviting visitors to join the conversation by sharing their own favorite SeaWorld memories using #SeaWorld60. A special gallery showcasing historic photos and memorabilia from the past 60 years will be accessible in the Pass Member’s Lounge.

Adding to the excitement of 2024, SeaWorld Orlando, already renowned as the Coaster Capital of Orlando, is set to unveil its highly anticipated new attraction – “Penguin Trek.” This family launch coaster promises an exhilarating journey through Antarctica, featuring two launches, thrilling twists and turns, and speeds of up to 43 mph across a 3,020-foot track. The ride concludes with an immersive experience where guests find themselves amidst SeaWorld Orlando’s penguin habitat, offering a unique blend of thrills and animal interaction.

Looking ahead, guests can anticipate new presentations, shows, delectable food options, and exclusive merchandise, all designed to enhance the SeaWorld experience.
