Sega Amusements finish 2023 on a high after a highly successful time at IAAPA Expo.

“IAAPA 2023 was truly an unforgettable event! A big thank you to all guests who visited us during the four-day show; it was a pleasure to see you all there! We are genuinely humbled by your positive feedback that Sega Amusements had the most impressive line-up of games at the show,” commented Paul Williams, CEO at SEGA Amusements.

One of Sega’s main attractions on site was Apex Rebels, which received raved reviews. ‘One of the slickest arcade racing games on the market, with gameplay that won guests over instantly,’ stated Sega. It promises to be in high demand come 2024 with operators making space for it in their arcades and FECs.

Meanwhile, Hyper Cross was another attraction which guests got to try out and represents another exciting offering for operators with its innovative approach to motion games. The new snowmobile experience impressed both players and operators alike.

And Zombies Ready Deady Go! gained a strong interest from players. Sega stated that ‘players are calling it the best derby-styled, fast-paced game they’ve ever played, while operators say that this game is precisely what the redemption category has been missing in recent times.’

A variety of attractions launched by Sega included Ballzania, a classic pinball-style redemption game with a new twist, and the Capto family of prize games, particularly the new Capto Candy sweet crane. Sega commented that ‘the brand-new gradient lighting had operators talking about the new, fresh look of the Capto family and how it has helped further establish them as the most attractive cranes on the market.’

In the social entertainment category, Augmented Reality Darts was exhibited with brand new camera & instant replay features, taking the most immersive darts product on the market to new levels of social interaction and enjoyment, representing a great opportunity for any social entertainment venue, modern arcade or FEC.
