Madame Tussauds Sydney reached new heights with the arrival of its latest addition and one of the world's most popular super-heroes – Marvel's Spider-Man.

The ultimate crime-fighter cast his eye over the Sydney skyline, 268m above street level on Skywalk at the Sydney Tower Eye.

No stranger to heights, the unrivalled viewing experience took Spider-Man to the highest and only point in Sydney with a 360-degree view of the entire city. The web-crawler enjoyed a bird's-eye view as he swung along the Skywalk.

Joining fellow Marvel heroes, Iron Man and Wolverine, Spider-Man will be hanging out in Madame Tussauds Sydney's all -new Marvel Super Hero Zone where kids can get their faces painted and test their strength.

The beloved wall-crawling icon has spread his web far and wide, coming a long way since his comic book origins, having moved on to the small screen and the big screen.

"Spider-Man is a much-loved Super Hero and the perfect complement to Madame Tussauds Sydney's new Marvel Super Hero Zone," said Madame Tussauds Sydney spokesperson, Kristy Enright.

"We know that kids and adults alike will get much enjoyment in getting up close with one of their favourite Marvel super-heroes.

"Spider-Man is synonymous with heights so it made perfect sense to unveil Madame Tussauds Sydney's latest addition on Skywalk at the Sydney Tower Eye."
