A new roller coaster called Vindfald has been announced for the Danish theme park Tivoli Friheden.

Courtesy of Gerstlauer Amusement Rides, the Euro Fighter-style ride will become the fourth roller coaster at Tivoli Friheden.

The centerpiece attraction of Tivoli Friheden for next season has an investment of £4.2m.

Henrik Ragborg Olesen, managing director Tivoli Friheden, gives a flavor of what to expect onboard Vindfald: “Almost from the first second, your heart beats up to your neck. And it stays that way for the rest of the ride. There are simply no boring sections on this roller coaster.”

Vindfald will race around the park up to a top speed of 45mph thanks to a 76ft lift hill. It will cover a distance of 984ft. The roller coaster will have the ability to cater for 360 guests per hour.
