Toverland has confirmed that it has received 1,165,000 visitors last year – An increase of 13% compared to the record year of 2022.

The opening of four new attractions in its themed area Avalon is a principal reason, but also the extension of opening times and a number of seasonal events were responsible for this new record.

General director Jean Gelissen jr. Said: “Not only did we welcome more guests than ever before, but also our guest satisfaction was higher than ever before, an insane combination of which we and our entire Toverteam are very proud!”

In July 2023, theme area Avalon saw the opening of four new attractions, extra play areas and various interactive experiences. “This expansion has turned Avalon into a full-fledged theme area, which allows us to attract a broader target audience and makes visitors stay a lot longer in this area”, explains Jean Gelissen jr..

Toverland also invested in the new park show Aqua Bellatores and a new Haunted Experience called Now You’re Mine, an attraction that could only be visited during the popular Halloween Nights. “Also, our investments in shows and seasonal events in 2023 clearly paid off”, adds Jean Gelissen jr..

“We stimulate our guests to visit us multiple times a year by presenting a versatile and unique offer, which resulted in the highest number of guests with an annual pass ever. Finally, we have noticed a massive domestic and international growth in brand awareness.”
