Toverland concluded the 2021 season with a healthy profit.

The Limburg amusement park recorded a net profit of 2.85m euros (£2.3m) last season, according to a recently filed annual report.

“During the period that Toverland was open, more visitors came than expected and these visitors also spent more than budgeted,” the report states. “The temporary campsite in particular has also led to extra turnover. Toverland’s result was good despite Covid-19 and the liquidity position at the end of 2021 is also very good.”

In February it was announced the number of visitors had increased from around 534,000 guests in 2020 to almost 718,000 visitors in 2021.

The future looks bright for the park. In 2023, Toverland will open four new attractions in the Avalon theme area and a holiday resort is planned for 2024.
