Legoland Korea Resort is to utilise AI technology to better visitor management.

Legoland Korea will introduce an artificial intelligence (AI) system to create more interactive communication with visitors through smart dolls integrated with OpenAI’s ‘ChatGPT’ feature.

Scheduled to be fully operation this autumn, the Korean park is to roll out its AI guidance system across the theme park.

The smart toys will provide a structured and smooth voice guidance conversation upon recognising specific locations and offer tailor-made information about rides and amenities through AI communications.

The system is fully accessible in four languages: English, Japanese, Chinese, and Uzbek and aimed at infants, guests with disabilities and foreign travellers.

Legoland Korea hope that the new system will revive the fortunes of its park, who had a visitation of 490,000 last year – far from its targeted two million visitors.
