Water World Lloret de Mar has opened Tornado King, the first Double TornadoWAVE 60 in Europe, created by ProSlide Technology Inc.

Firstly, the experienced water manufacturers presided over the design and development of Tornado King. And this latest installment comes off the back of its successful debut of Tornado Land in 2024, a new KIDZ zone that introduced eight custom-designed children’s slides.

In fact, this landmark attraction marks a major investment in high-thrill, high-capacity water ride technology. Furthermore, this signals a new era for one of Spain’s most iconic water parks, now celebrating its 40th season.

Located in the heart of Catalonia’s Costa Brava, Water World opened in 1985 as Spain’s first water park. Spanning 140,000 m², it features over 20 attractions and continues to evolve with a focus on both innovation and broad guest appeal.
