Dutch waterpark equipment specialist Van Egdom has announced it will supply a new treehouse family water attraction to Center Pacs holiday park in Allgau, Germany.
“We are proud to be given the opportunity to design, manufacture and install this ground-breaking new innovative family water attraction into what will be Center Parcs’ flagship holiday village in Germany,” Van Egdom said.
Set to be the family focal point of Center Parcs’ tropical-themed Aqua Mundo area, the bespoke-themed Tree House Water Playground will be loaded with slides, slide tubes and sprayers.
It will also boast twin giant tipping buckets and a themed platform.
“This is a tremendous honour for Van Egdom and an exciting proposition to create a truly world-class water attraction for them,” said Van Egdom’s commercial director, Simon van Dijk.
“Our design and engineering teams are excited to be working on such a prestigious project. We will be making sure that every element and phase of design, manufacture and installation is delivered efficiently, to quality and on time.”
Van Dijk added: “This attraction is set to be the most exciting Dutch engineered family water play attraction to be delivered for Center Parcs and the European leisure market to date.
The attraction is due for completion in 2018.
