Cementing itself as a favourite entertainment destination in the Middle East, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi saw guests flock to the park throughout its third year of operation.

The unique Emirati-themed waterpark, which first opened its doors in January 2013, reflected on three years of success last month, while the resort’s management team provided a glimpse of what is set to be another year of fun for local, regional and international visitors alike.

The park’s popular Ladies Night that took a glamorous twist in 2015, and the return of the resort’s popular Resident Offer were key elements to the year’s success. Furthermore, 2015 also saw Team UAE clinching the World Flowboarding Championships for the second year in a row, with the world-renowned event being hosted at Yas Waterworld for the third consecutive year.

“The park has continued to exceed all of our expectations through 2015, with positive responses from our guests from within the UAE as well as from the region and across the world,” said Tim Mow, general manager at Yas Waterworld.

“Our world-class offering and thrilling rides, slides and attractions have been instrumental in establishing us as a preferred family-friendly destination in the UAE and the GCC region.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our guests who have been part of our amazing journey for the past three years, and look forward to welcoming new and returning visitors as we announce some more exciting news later this year.”

Yas Waterworld continued to establish itself as a worldwide favourite family destination in 2015, winning four regional and international awards in 2015, including the Traveller’s Choice Award and the Certificate of excellence from the world’s largest travel site, TripAdvisor.
