Toverland is set to welcome its expanded Avalon themed area this summer.

The area will be open to the public on Saturday 1 July making Avalon’s offer “more attractive to a larger audience and also increases the length-of-stay in this area,” according to the park.

The theme park confirmed that it has invested a total of £9.8m in this project.

In total, there will be four new attractions: two of them on a large scale with two small ones.

Pixarus will be a flying passenger ride, Dragonwatch is a family drop tower, Garden Tour will be a trip through a magical garden and Jumping Juna is an adventure carousel.

It was back in 2018 when Toverland opened its themed area of Avalon with its wing coaster Fēnix, boat ride Merlin’s Quest and restaurant The Flaming Feather.

The expansion has involved 35 parties with 300 staff members from eight different countries. Construction started last September through to the 1 July.
