Leaders of the leisure, attractions, tourism and entertainment industries will come together to showcase and explore innovative products and services at this year’s Euro Attractions Show (EAS).

Hosted by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), EAS 2017 will take place at the Messe Berlin exhibition centre on September 26-28.

The event, which moves to a new location in Europe each year, last took place in Berlin in 2012.

This year, more than 500 companies will display their innovations across over 12,000sq.m of exhibit space for more than 6,000 buyers to experience first-hand.

Delegates represent theme and amusement parks, waterparks, family entertainment centres, zoos, aquariums, hotels, resorts, museums, cultural attractions, outdoor amusement organisers and more from throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

In addition to the trade show, EAS 2017 will offer an extensive and diverse education programme from September 24-28.

Participants can also enjoy networking and behind-the-scenes tours to Berlin’s tourism attractions, including Tropical Islands, Filmpark Babelsberg and more.

“Taking EAS to Berlin for the second time will provide value to all attendees regardless of their background in the leisure and attractions industry,” said Karen Staley, senior vice president of IAAPA’s EMEA division.

“Some of the best in the leisure industry are located in Germany, and the strong reputation of the Berlin-Brandenburg region in hospitality and business makes it an ideal location for EAS.”
