The IAAPA has released details about its inaugural IAAPA Expo: IAAPA Virtual Education Conference being held on November 16 to 18, 2020.

Attraction industry professionals will come together virtually to watch renowned leaders from the industry and gain insight about how to move their organisation forward.

Hal McEvoy, president and CEO of IAAPA, commented: ““While we remain disappointed we could not host IAAPA Expo 2020 in person, we still want to provide a global event for members. Throughout the year our dedicated member volunteers planned the education conference portion of IAAPA Expo, and our team did not want that hard work – or the outstanding planned content – to go unheard or shared.”

As well as educational sessions focused on issues and trends currently facing the industry, there will be four keynote presentations featuring well-known figures from the sector. These professionals include Andreas Andersen, president and CEO of Liseberg, Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Disney Parks Experienced and Products, Pamela Landwirth, president of Give Kids The World, and Tilak Mandadi, executive vice president and digital and global chief technology officer of Disney Parks Experiences and Products.

The popular “CEO Speaks” sessions will be taking place, where CEOs from the industry share their thoughts on important topics such as how to keep a focus on priorities and how to create a lasting company culture.

The 2020 IAAPPA Awards Presentations are to be announced at this year’s IAAPA Hall of Fame inductees, IAAPA Service Awards Presentations and IAAPA Young Professional of the Year.

Registration for IAAP Expo: Virtual Education Conference is now open.
