Europa Park has unveiled more details regarding its new attraction which is set for 2024.

Courtesy of the park’s in-house manufacturing arm Mack Rides, Europa Park is preparing guests for a ride with the tagline ‘Welcome to the Electric Age’

During the latest construction video on Mack Rides’ media portal, a taste of the new ride can be seen. The new attraction will be a launch coaster, firstly hurling riders upside down with a brief pause before shooting down to the next set of ride elements. The coaster will twist and turn and brush past greenery and trees and intertwine with the coaster itself.

The attraction then comes to a halt before turning around 180 degrees on a turntable before being launched again backward then forwards for a second round of adrenaline thrills.

“It will be another spectacular highlight for Europa Park and when opened, the coaster will be one of the most modern and spectacular coasters in Europe,” said Mack Rides when plans for the ride were first unveiled.

The coaster will have a brown tone track and it is clear that Mack Rides has put a lot of thought and creativity to give participants the best possible ride.

The coaster will be Europa Park’s 14th in total and will be located in the park’s new Croatian-themed area. The yet-unnamed attraction is set to propel riders headfirst into the Electric Age in 2024.

Europa Park and its water park, Rulantica, cater to more than 100 attractions. Such as its demand, the park welcomed more than six million guests last season – attracting the highest visitor numbers in its storied history.
