Hersheypark, the family theme park in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is to introduce two new Jolly Rancher-themed rides this year.

The Jolly Rancher Remix rollercoaster and the Mix’d Flavored by Jolly Rancher will be opening at the theme park in the summer.

The amusement destination has also redesigned its Sidewinder coaster for Jolly Rancher Remix. The Remix is one of Hersheypark’s 15 rollercoasters. It features music, lights and scents inspired by Jolly Rancher flavours, including watermelon and apple, alongside six inversions which riders experience in just 90 seconds.

2020 saw the $150 million Hershey Chocolatetown expansion open. The land extends over 23 acres and was the largest investment in the theme park’s history. The biggest landmark of the area is Candymonium, the fastest, longest and tallest rollercoaster in Hersheypark.

John lawn, CEO of Hersheypark, commented on the growing success of the theme park: Throughout Chocolatetown, we celebrate the life and legacy of Milton Hershey by continuing to bring people together for happiness, fun and, of course, chocolate.

“Candymonium has been well received. Especially among coaster enthusiasts who praise it as one of the best B&M coasters in operation.

“Importantly, it also serves as a centrepiece of the new region and showcases excitement from the second you arrive. Our guests have told us they are very happy to be back in the park, making memories in a fun and safe environment. The idea of sharing happiness inspires us this summer more than ever before,” Lawn added.
