The I’m a Celebrity Jungle Challenge featuring jungle zipwires, parachute drops, VR raft rides, vertical climbing walls and more, is to open in Manchester.
The new ITV experience will be added to the raft of entertainment experiences, including Coronation Street The Tour, Ninja Warrior UK, The Emmerdale Studio Experience and ITV Daytime Studio Tour at Television Centre in London.
The new I’m a Celebrity Jungle Challenge visitor attraction will be located in The Lowry Outlet near MediaCityUK.
The family-friendly experience will feature elements of virtual reality which will see players riding down a VR raft ride, alongside snakes and crocodiles, collecting points and stars on the way.
With foliage, dappled light, gobos and ripple effects, the experience is designed to create an authentic jungle feel.
The visitor experience was planned to open in the autumn of 2020, but this will be dependent on the coronavirus pandemic.
