Europa-Park Germany’s best theme park. The title has been awarded once again after independent travel platform Travelcircus placed the resort in Rust at the top of its 2026 German theme park ranking. The annual study compared 49 of the country’s leading parks using a range of measures including attraction numbers, admission prices, guest reviews and online popularity.
Travelcircus has now published the ranking for the ninth consecutive year. This year’s analysis examined more than 1,650 attractions and scored parks across several categories designed to measure both visitor value and overall appeal. Europa-Park achieved 22.51 points from a possible 25 to secure first place.
For operators, the result reflects the strength of Europa-Park’s strategy of combining a large-scale ride offering with accommodation, entertainment and extended-stay experiences. The resort now features more than 100 attractions and shows, alongside the Rulantica water park, the Eatrenalin dining experience, six four-star superior hotels and the recently opened Silver Lake City development. The new Monaco-themed area has also expanded the park’s portfolio of European-themed lands.
The latest recognition adds to a growing list of honours for the resort. During its 50th anniversary celebrations, Europa-Park also retained several major international awards, including being named the world’s best theme park in the 2025 Golden Ticket Awards and Europe’s best theme park in the 2025 European Star Awards.
While the Travelcircus ranking is aimed primarily at consumers, it provides another benchmark for the attractions industry. Its methodology combines pricing, operating calendars, Google and TripAdvisor reviews, search interest, social media activity and the breadth of each park’s attraction line-up, offering a broader measure than attendance alone.
