Parque Acuático Los Trinitarios launches near Bucaramanga with six ProSlide rides, marking a new benchmark for water park development in Colombia’s Santander region.
Comfenalco Santander opened Parque Acuático Los Trinitarios on 15 May 2026. The new Colombia water park is the first in the Santander region to source its entire line-up from ProSlide. Near Bucaramanga and the Topocoro reservoir, it claims the title of the largest water park development in eastern Colombia. Six rides are live from day one.
The ProSlide line-up covers the full family range. A Dueling PIPEline, CannonBOWL 30, TORNADO 18 and four-lane RallyRACER form the high-capacity core. A SkyBOX with FreeFALL delivers a vertical drop element. A custom RideHOUSE 200 serves families and younger riders.
‘Projects like Los Trinitarios demonstrate how water parks are evolving globally,’ says Aaron Wilson, ProSlide SVP, business development – EMEA & LATAM. ‘Operators are increasingly building complete destinations that combine attractions, relaxation, and shared experiences into a single offering. This park is a strong example of that shift within Colombia’s tourism market.’
The wider Comfenalco Santander complex extends beyond the water rides. Pools, restaurants, sports facilities, relaxation areas and wellness amenities complete the guest experience. The layout supports extended visits and targets year-round use. ProSlide collaborated with Comfenalco Santander on planning, ride integration and development to bring the Colombia water park to life.
The opening extends ProSlide’s Latin America footprint. Regional operators are building parks around complete leisure offers, not ride collections alone. Los Trinitarios is the latest Colombia water park to apply that template. The all-ProSlide approach signals a clear commitment to single-supplier collaboration.
‘Comfenalco Santander had a clear vision to create a park that would serve families across the region while elevating the standard for water park entertainment in Colombia,’ Wilson adds. ‘We’re proud to see guests now experiencing these attractions for the first time.’
