Disney Cruise Line has unveiled new details about its upcoming ship, the Disney Destiny, set to embark on its maiden voyage on November 20, 2025, from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This 144,000-ton vessel, currently under construction at Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, will be the third in the Wish-class series, following the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure.
The Disney Destiny will offer four- and five-night cruises to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean, featuring stops at Disney’s private island destinations: Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
Embracing a ‘Heroes and Villains’ theme, the ship will feature a Grand Hall inspired by Marvel’s Black Panther, complete with a statue of T’Challa and design elements reflecting Wakandan aesthetics. Guests can also experience the AquaMouse attraction, a water coaster with a new storyline where Mickey and Minnie face off against iconic Disney villains.
Additional entertainment includes a piano bar themed after Cruella de Vil and the Saga lounge, where Maleficent showcases her magical abilities. Dining options feature the ‘Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King’ restaurant, offering traditional African cuisine and live performances, and the ‘Worlds of Marvel’ dining experience with appearances by Rocket and Groot.
The ship will also host Broadway-style productions such as ‘Disney Hercules’, ‘Frozen, A Musical Spectacular’, and ‘Disney Seas the Adventure’, along with the ‘Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party’ fireworks show.
