Dollywood has won five worldโs best awards at Amusement Todayโs Golden Ticket Award.
The Golden Ticket Awards, the theme park industryโs most prestigious awards ceremony, took place last Saturday evening at Kennywood amusement park. Dollywood received finalist placement in eight total categories and won more Golden Ticket awards than any other park in the world.
One of the awards was for โBest Family Coasterโ of Big Bear Mountain, created by Vekoma.
โIโm so proud of what our folks at Dollywood do to make sure our guests have the best time when they are visiting us,โ Dolly Parton said. โWith all of the awards weโve won the last few years, I think weโre going to have to get a larger trophy case.
โAwards are nice to receive, but we donโt do what we do to win awards. We want to be the place where families want to return time and time again to make new memories they will always treasure.โ
Dollywood also won a sixth award which bestowed โlegendโ status on the parkโs unmatched Smoky Mountain Christmas festival.
