The eagerly-anticipated Donkey Kong Country area held inside Universal Studios Japan has announced an opening.
Nintendo Co.’s beloved video game character will call his new home this spring.
Donkey Kong Country will be located inside Super Nintendo World, joining Mario, Luigi and Co as part of a planned 70% expansion.
The centrepiece attraction of Donkey Kong Country will be a themed ride where visitors can hop in a mine cart and run along a track, mimicking the popular video game.
Super Nintendo World opened in March 2021 to much fanfare and attractions such as Mario Kart racing and Yoshi’s adventure.
