Efteling aim to spread joy with a special gift towards many families across The Netherlands.
Starting this Christmas, during the next five years, Efteling will donate 80,000 tickets each year to the Stichting Leergeld foundation, making a total of 400,000 tickets.
“The starting point of this collaboration is that for the next five years we will give all families who are helped by our local foundations a day at Efteling,” says Gaby van den Biggelaar, director of the foundation.
Efteling are also looking into supporting families with travelling to the resort.
A stark statistic shows that one in every 12 children grow up in poverty. Therefore, Efteling, who provides numerous charitable activities, want to spread further the seasonal joy.
