A spooktacular attraction has come to life at Paultons Park with the debut of ‘Ghostly Manor.’

The dark ride is the brainchild of Mack Rides and serves up interactive gameplay, ghostly storytelling, and ‘a few bone-chilling tricks up its sleeves.’

Paulton Park’s new £3.5m scare attraction dares intrepid guests to “get ready for chills, thrills, and ghostly surprises!

“A brand-new, hair-raising adventure awaits brave souls at Paultons Park. Dr. Kinley’s haunted house is opening its doors… but beware – once inside, the spirits won’t let you leave without a fright!

Ready to play?

“We’re thrilled to celebrate the launch of Ghostly Manor at Paultons Park,” said its creators, Mack Ride.

“An all-new Gameplay Theatre experience brought to life by Mack Rides!

“Step inside the haunted halls where guests become part of the story, combining thrilling interactivity, immersive set design, and playful scares for the whole family. This is NOT your average dark ride – it’s a game, a theatre, and a ghostly good time all in one!

“Huge congratulations to the entire Paulton’s Park team on today’s opening. It’s been a pleasure bringing this spooky vision to life together.”

A new Viking world

Meanwhile, Paultons Park has already revealed its next attraction project. Entitled ‘Valgard, Realm of the Vikings’, the Viking-themed land will cost £12m and will open in 2026.

A duo of attractions will take centre stage in the Viking surroundings: “Drakon” will be a Gerstlauer Euro Fighter manufactured ride and feature two inversions. The thrill ride will be the focal point of the new land, joining the flat ride ‘Vild Swing.’

“Valgard, Realm of the Vikings, is the attraction’s largest investment to date. It is aimed at families with older children and teenagers, said a spokesperson for Paulton’s Park.

In addition, Cobra is changing its name and re-themed to ‘Raven.’

“We’re thrilled to continue our longstanding partnership with Paultons Park,” said Leisure Expert Group. The experienced design company is working in partnership on the design of the new themed area as well as the recently opened Ghostly Manor.
