The much-anticipated IAAPA Expo Europe 2024 has officially opened its doors at the RAI Convention Center in Amsterdam Today, bringing together professionals from the global attractions industry in the vibrant capital of the Netherlands.
In a period marked by growth and innovation, IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry, returns to a city renowned for its rich cultural heritage and strong ties to leisure and entertainment. The expo runs from September 24 to 26, offering a hub of inspiration, innovation, and networking opportunities for industry professionals worldwide.

Record-Breaking Participation
This year’s expo welcomes over 680 exhibiting companies occupying more than 18,000 square meters of space, making it the largest exhibit floor in the history of the European annual expo. Attendees can expect to see the latest in attractions technology, services, and products that are shaping the future of the industry.
The tradeshow floor opened with an exciting ceremony celebrating Amsterdam’s rich culture. Traditional Dutch music and dance performances set a lively tone for the event. During the opening ceremony, Jakob Wahl made a momentous announcement: the addition of IAAPA Expo Middle East, set to debut in 2026. This groundbreaking event will be IAAPA’s first major tradeshow in the Middle East, highlighting the organization’s commitment to supporting the rapidly growing EMEA market.
