An eagerly anticipated roller coaster set for 2024 has started its ride testing.
Top Thrill 2 at Cedar Point has been reimagined with a new 420ft spike tower installed to add to its original tower structure.
The new Zamperla Lightning Trains were tested launching halfway up its new spike before being propelled towards the other tower and reach the midway point.
Further testing will continue throughout the winter period ahead of its opening next spring.
The next era of the racing style attraction promises to be a top thrill.
