Lightwater Valley has confirmed a new accommodation venue catering for a glitzy glamping experience.
The Ripon theme park will construct 31 glamping pods which will feature in its new woodland accommodation area.
“We are really excited to reveal that accommodation is coming to the site here at Lightwater!” said Marketing Manager Annabelle St John.
“We always get calls from people asking if they can stay on site, so we are really excited to announce that we have planning permission for over 100 lodges and glamping pods – and we break ground later this year.
“It is a beautiful setting. We have got lots of lovely countryside, so it will be a great addition to the park.”
A planning application for the accommodation venue was green-lit by North Yorkshire Council at the start of the year with construction beginning towards the end of the 2024 season.
The move comes on the back of a busy period for Lightwater Valley as its has unveiled a new ride called Jeep Safari and plans to open a family rollercoaster called The Rocket soon.
