Maurer Rides has revealed its latest attraction set to thrill roller coaster fans with ‘Speed Chaser’
“Passengers determine their own speed, 8-seater, and 2-seater racers can be used alternatively or simultaneously on the track, plus tilting seats, boosters, gaming, shooting, light gates, the Speed Chaser can do a lot in a small area if required,” comments Maurer Rides on its reveal.
The layout of Speed Chaser can accommodate two different vehicle types. Riders can race as a two-seater or Train for up to eight passengers, and not alternatively, but also simultaneously.
Speed Chaser will go around a track at speeds up to 70km/h (43mph) within a proximity of 60m x 50m.
Another impressive feature will be the ride’s 45° tilt function of the Speed Chaser seats, which can be triggered anywhere on the track by the passenger or a controlled program. “When they tilt backwards, e.g., at the camelback, they catapult you visually into the sky and you fall into weightlessness,” sum up Maurer Rides on their latest addition, Speed Chaser.
Speed Chaser will be officially presented at the IAAPA Expo Europe in Vienna.
