Launched in late July, Jungle Run is a new racing slide at the Swiss waterpark Alpamare.
The twin enclosed slide is the longest of its kind in Europe, featuring a total of 440m of tubes. Alpamare guests can enjoy the speed and adrenaline as they race against their mates in either the orange or green lane, each of which is 220m long.
A screen with a timer adds to the competitive nature of the experience, and LED lights inside each tube provide an attractive effect as guests slide their way through. The 22.5m-high attraction was installed by the Swiss supplied Klarer.
Alpamare is located in Bad Seedamm and is one of two waterparks in Europe with that name. A second, in the English seaside resort of Scarborough, opened in 2016.
