Triotech has confirmed the opening of ‘Carnival Chaos Hyper Ride’ at Clifton Hill, Niagara Falls.

This first-of-its-kind dark ride experience is located at Clifton Hill, the centre of the Entertainment District in Niagara Falls.

Carnival Chaos is a 6,000 sq. ft dynamic, action-packed interactive dark ride which features seven fully interactive scenes as well as programmable digital theming inside the attraction.

This new attraction is set to become the new highlight of Clifton Hill’s bustling tourist promenade.

The exterior of the building has been entirely themed to accentuate the “Carnival” setting of the ride. With its vehicles coming outside and the loading area visible from the exterior, passers-by see and hear the guests laughing and screaming from thrills and fun.

Harry Oakes, President of Clifton Hill: Fun by the Falls, said: “Clifton Hill has now opened the Carnival Chaos: Hyper Ride, offering a first-of-its-kind dark ride experience in Niagara Falls, Canada.”

“Hyper Ride is a unique award-winning attraction that changes the game for Location Based Entertainment venues,” commented Ernest Yale, President, and CEO of Triotech.

“This attraction delivers a destination park level experience but for a fraction of the investment and space requirements. We have several such projects in the planning stage.”

Triotech’s Hyper Ride features a world’s first in motion technology combined with a high-speed moving platform, creating a strong acceleration, and providing visitors a coaster-like experience.

Moreover, the ride is interactive, which means that guests compete to get the highest score with their targeting device. This also creates a unique and friendly-competitive dynamic that bolsters repeat rides.

As it requires much less footprint that conventional dark rides, Carnival Chaos Hyper Ride has been installed inside an existing arcade building with a very low ceiling, thus allowing Clifton Hill to optimize square footage utilization.

Hyper Ride was awarded the IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Best New Product “Major Ride/Attraction” category in 2021.
