Universal Parks & Resorts unveils a new theme park designed specifically to entertain families with young children.

The new theme park concept, which is located in a lush green environment and includes immersive themed lands that celebrate Universal’s iconic brand entertainment, humor, innovation, and entertainment. It also brings to life the beloved characters and stories of Universal in ways that will delight even the youngest visitors.

The proposed park will be smaller and more engaging for younger audiences. It will also be better suited for regional audiences. It will have family-friendly attractions and interactive and playful shows. There will also be character meet and greets and unique merchandise. It will be smaller but still have the same quality and amenities as Universal’s larger resort destinations.

The company recently acquired 97 acres. The proposed park includes plans for a nearby themed hotel and expansion. The entire area is designed to be completely different from Universal’s existing parks. It will appeal to new audiences and have a unique look and feel.

Universal Parks & Resorts has chosen Frisco, North Texas as the location for the new concept due to its increasing population and ability to draw businesses to the region. The location of the proposed new concept is ideal, being east of the Dallas North Tollway.

Page Thompson, President, New Ventures at Universal Parks & Resorts said, “We are excited to partner with Frisco’s Mayor Cheney as it works to bring this innovative new concept to life designed for a younger generation. Given its growing popularity, North Texas seems like the perfect location to launch this new park for families.

Jeff Cheney, Frisco mayor, said that Frisco is one of America’s fastest-growing cities. He also noted that Frisco is a great place to start a business and raise a family. “This Universal concept will continue to increase our tax base and expand employment opportunities. It will also bring more fun and enjoyment to Frisco for our residents, visitors, and businesses.

Over time, more details will be made available about the project.
