WhiteWater, creators of iconic waterpark attractions, has announced two new key hires ahead of the IAAPA Expo Europe 2021.

Frank Good is to lead business development at Vantage, the technology unit at WhiteWater that is focused on accelerating the digital transformation of the leisure industry through an advanced software platform. Industry veteran Domingo Vergoossen is to head up business development at the company’s water rides division.

Frank Good has devoted ten years of his career to helping clients succeed through technology. He has worked with many leading brands in the amusement and cultural sectors.

Philip Edgell, president of Vantage, shared his enthusiasm of the appointment of Good: “It is rare to find a person with Frank’s experience bringing disruptive technologies to the industry. We are excited to add him to the team and deliver our innovative solution to market.”

Domingo Vergoossen has played an instrumental role in the design, manufacture and refurbishment of water rides for more than a decade. In his portfolio of attractions are Log Flumes, Shoot the Chute and the Spinning Rapids Ride, which won the IAAPA Brass Ring Award.

Vergoossen started his career as a designer at Vekoma Amusement Rides. In 2004 he was tasked with establishing Vekoma’s first China manufacturing facility in the Guangdong province.

On the appointment of Vergoossen, Paul Chutter, president of WhiteWater said: “We are honoured to welcome Domingo to WhiteWater. His depth of expertise will be extremely valuable to help our clients realise their goals, while his breadth of knowledge will help the team see the whole picture.”
