IAAPA has announced three hirings towards its leadership team – a recruitment drive which will ‘drive IAAPA’s commitment to advancing the attractions industry worldwide,’ according to IAAPA.     

As per the appointments, Jack Chan has been named as the new executive director and vice president of the IAAPA Asia-Pacific region (APAC). Chan will oversee IAAPA’s mission in the APAC region.

Meanwhile, Jorge Cabrera will take on the role of Senior Vice President, People Development at IAAPA and continue IAAPA’s commitment to nurturing talent within the industry.

And Christy Spahn, has been appointed IAAPA’s Vice President of Expo Sales and Operations. Spahn will be tasked with dealing with the sales and expo operations teams for all three trade shows.

Upon the announcement of the appointments, Jakob Wahl, president and chief executive officer of IAAPA, commented: “The addition of Jack Chan, Jorge Cabrera, and Christy Spahn to the IAAPA team underscores our commitment to strengthening the global attractions industry. These industry veterans bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will be pivotal in driving IAAPA’s mission forward.
